How to play

Type or paste names into the box, one per line — pasting a comma-separated list also works and is split automatically.

Press Pick a Name to randomly select one entry from the list.

Use Remove Duplicates if your list has the same name entered more than once, or Shuffle to reorder the list without picking yet.

Names are never sent anywhere — the whole list and the pick happen entirely in your browser.

If two people share a name, add a short distinguishing detail (like a last initial) so you can tell them apart in the result.
For a classroom or team, keep a saved copy of your list in a notes app so you can paste it back in next time — GenioBuzz doesn't store it for you.
Use Random Winner Picker instead if you want the option to remove each winner from the pool as you go.

Is there a limit to how many names I can add?

No hard limit, but very long lists (hundreds of names) may be easier to manage split into smaller groups.

Does GenioBuzz save my list?

No — nothing is uploaded or stored; the list only exists in your browser tab.

Can I pick more than one name at once?

This tool picks one name per click; for splitting everyone into groups, try Random Team Generator or Random Group Generator.
